Headline from today’s Detroit News: “WSU: Lessenberry harassed students; would have been fired”
...
Question: I seem to recall a thread about Lessenberry’s behavior, but a thread that was posted on here way back— around 2005 or so. Is this ringing any bells for anyone else?
He’s also out at Michigan Radio:

WSU changed from Tartars to Warriors in 1999. I think the jokes about condiments and teeth plaque didn't help, and then-President Reid wanted to push athletics more. A better name would help.

Really? There's only one laundromat in the whole city? Bummer.
Can anyone recommend a good laundromat in Detroit or Hamtramck? Had my laptop ripped off from Coin Laundry on Jos Campau, and I'm looking for somewhere else to wash clothes. Thanks!
I'm in agreement with mike... these missionaries knew exactly what they were doing: stirring people up. I wonder how they would feel if Muslims targeted Christian gatherings in the same way.

While I don't feel sorry for her, I certainly have more patience with her than Kilpatrick. She resigned early on, and didn't drag the scandal out; did her jail time; and has been repaying her debt to...
That's terrible... I've done some research at the Reuther, and the collection of old News negatives was very impressive. It was my understanding that the News held onto the negatives prior to 1980....
