how much is shipping? if I can get it to Racine for cheap I might take it.
maybe they can paint the old hudson's building streetscape on the side. that would be awesome.
I think the renovation of one of these awesome buildings would make a great show on the history channel - you'd think someone on the development team would at least be in there with a video recorder...
since nobody has claimed it yet I'll take on the Stott building. Since it seems to be in better shape than Broderick or the Book, I'll also spend less than you other two.
high speed rail is great. spending millions of dollars on trains that are slower than my moped is fail.
How long are they going to want to look at that eyesore next door? could be like those up at the Book Cadillac peering at the Lafayette every day.
can you snow plow a parking lot surface like that? you'd think you'd rip it up pretty easily.
Apple steals from everyone - what's the surprise? :D
Lack of jail space? why don't they take all those abandoned factories and turn them into jail space? doesn't seem to far fetched.
I drive without a seatbelt. I just felt like confessing.
nice interview guys. way to shed a positive light on what you do....too many people don't understand that it's not about 'ruin porn' - it's about history.
for the life of me I can't see how what happened yesterday is not more of a catch than this 2 pt conversion from the superbowl:

ya'll got screwed. worst call ever.
you guys ever play Sim City? you just click on the little bulldozer icon and then on the plots of land you want to get rid of. poof! you're right sized...
:)
she must be in pretty rough shape to have an asking price that low. unless the price tag on the book is excessively high. most of the interior shots of the book tower show it's quite a mess. I...
once a year that building serves as a venue for the renovation team and select friends to get together and watch the fireworks.
what's empty and taller than the book? thought that was the tallest empty in the US. Did Carl's computers get kicked out too?
no thanks! I don't like Nickelbacks.
gotta agree with the poster above....how does such an important thing end up controlled by a private individual? especially one as crooked as this guy...
how's the pile of rubble? did they scoop it up yet?
great coverage guys... sad day.
great picture! hopefully you snapped some shots of the inside of the Stott since everyone is curious what it's like in there!
yeah our downtown is very cool. lots of late 19th early 20th century buildings - although most of them are vacant.
we're having our Hudson's moment over here after 180 years the prominent downtown store is closing. 80,000 feet going empty. kind of a dark day here.
