Wow I'm so glad they're filling that whole block on Farmer! They clearly took some cues from the Bowery Hotel in NYC [[which is awesome).
...
There is a People Mover station right across the street, so no.

It looks like the giant pizza man is being applied to the roof.
Wow what a great addition!
Wait, unfortunately I think the new apartments to be announced near Henry and Clifford are the ones already under construction; the one story [[so far) building that wraps the parking garage and...
I totally agree; Selden Street and Parsons should both go through to John R to cut the superblock up.

Wow what an excellent addition to that corner! That stretch will be amazing in 5 years!!
I could not agree more with swingline.

The steel is now rising for the residential building just west of the arena. I'm glad this building wasn't put on hold! Are they progressing with the...
Hopefully it's just a matter of time before a development is announced for the northwest corner of Woodward and Grand Boulevard!
Wow that looks great!!I would love an announcement for some infill on the parking lot behind it!!
I feel like an announcement regarding the American Hotel should be coming any day. This should be a top priority to improve the area as well.
I agree; I hope it's additional storefronts and I hope they don't call it a mall. Malls in urban downtowns go against current urban planning standards.
Are those tracks utilized between Mack and Warren? If not, maybe they could extend the Dequindre Cut up to Warren and then start the Hamtramck connector from there?
Does anyone have any updated photos of the progress? Are any of the station platforms going in yet? Is the I-75 bridge complete?
That would also rule out "fabrica de tarta de queso", since there is already one at Twelve Oaks.

Hudson's site announcement/information delayed again until April; I don't mind because I think...
There is absolutely no reason they can't work on the arena and the Eddystone simultaneously; I see projects going on next to each other or across the street from each other all the time in NYC or...
Excellent news! I always thought that those blocks, as well as the blocks across the freeway interchange [[Grand River, Henry, Pine, 5th Street) could be great little neighborhoods. Both are clearly...
Those tracks are to hold scaffolding; they are not cheap, so this means work is officially starting!! The scaffolds over 1515 are suspended scaffolds because you cannot install the track type onto...
While I disagree with widening Temple, I do see why they want to do it; widening Temple will make it a very important cross street cutting directly from Woodward, through their new district, and...
I always thought that this should have been the last stop on the light rail; it could make a little jog on Jefferson and wind up right at the river. This would also be convenient for the RenCen...
I agree, but I hope if they continue the parking to the vacant lot to the south, they have a break in the street wall [[even if the garage goes in 15 feet as it goes over State Street).
