Prolly why his wife filed for divorce.
Still here. Since '99 thanks to Aram, a high schooler who handed me a card with his People Mover website card. We were both staring into the Hudson's hole when we struck up a convo. He made the site...
Honest questions: why did you move and when you did, did you move into a similar area? Are you in Detroit's stadium area now?
The boulevard is being set up as an esplanade to connect the streetcar stop and Campus Martius. It'll be a nice landscaped area with a wide, winding sidewalk down the middle.
God dammit. Big Boy is closing. That's a pretty solid place here in the neighborhood. A real shame.
Love how it took you four or five days to discover the fact people have been speaking about your site/art four or five days past the fact. Reconfirms how far this site has fallen. Used to be people...
Who does that?
From the top of the Ren Cen, when looking across the Detroit River to Windsor, with a good pair of binoculars and just before the horizon, one can see the beginnings of permafrost and caribou. This...
Thanks for the response!
This is my neighborhood. How do you know it will be retail and lofts?

Some of the infill condo townhouses in Islandview Village. They use the alleys with the garages off the back. These are on Field and Sheridan and Townsend Generally between Lafayette and...
No...you wait. Besides, what do you care? How often do you ride the #53?
I've followed this site for the last couple of years and have embraced most of his advice. I've been retired for three years this Spring at age 38 and I give living in the City of Detroit more than...
I think people have this image of mile long freight trains on the city street, or fifteen car passenger trains. This is going to be just as easy on auto traffic as a bus and a far better quality of...
Let's talk about pure aesthetics. The Hudson's building may have dominated a [[arguably once smaller) skyline, but it didn't invade the street scape
In fact, it blended I to the Woodward streetwall...
The Detroit Downtown Partnership began programming in Grand Circus last year. There were bocci ball courts, food trucks, etc. It will continue this year.
Two bus lines. Don't forget the Lafayette-Van Dyke is just two blocks north.
Also, Washington Blvd. as well as Kalamazoo and a host of other places.
There's a water park at Chandler Park, three bike shops in the greater downtown and of course, the doggie day care. It's as of people don't even know what we already have.
As a resident, I want a...
