This building was part of my art major studies.
To me, I have more of an issue with the aesthetics than I do about building up. Regarding new tall buildings. To me it doesn't make any sense until they have enough tenants to justify this. This...
Speaking of Robin Williams. I had the opportunity to go by his current home where he passed away. Took some photographs of the front yard. I'd told some co-workers who swore up and down that Robin...
We have that same issue here in the Bay Area via San Francisco. Bikers here run stop signs and sometimes car drivers will make illegal turns around bike riders. But most of the time the bike riders...
I agree. I like the results so far, but let's not do a incomplete job. I'd like to see the crown at the top. Maybe that will happen down the line.
I do agree that there are some not so attractive buildings out there. But it's a subjective argument. The Rec Cen falls under that bracket. It's not the most attractive building, but I wouldn't say...
Here's a question and maybe why some [[my guess) are reluctant to use this technology. What about during those cold winter years where it is [[ice and snow) impossible for the sun's light to penetrate...
There's nothing wrong with dreaming. But if the supply and demand isn't there, companies/businesses won't waste their time.
True. Especially here on the west coast. Almost had a surfer swallowed up last week by the whales that like to feed on the very small fish here. Anyways, I'm sure things will be fine. I'm glad to see...
Throw those motherfuckers out. ;) I was not aware that the elevators were on that side of the building. I was under the impression that they're in the center of the building. That said, perhaps they...
I'd be cool if they would get rid of the whale and open that side up with windows. Wishful thinking on my part.
I'd added my ideas based on my journey here to San Francisco, viewing some of the vintage train stations in other major cities during my stops.
Perhaps the renovation on the Boderick Tower and the completion of the Cadillac Building will put the MCS owner in the spotlight to get it together.
I prefer a contemporary look mixed with the old.
I wasn't aware of the Boderick renovation. It's good to see that vs. an grey elephant. The Caddilac Hotel looks good too. Hopefully they can make it happen with the MCS building.
I posted my question in the wrong thread. This is the wrong one.
O.k. I asked because I was debating with someone earlier about this topic and they're telling me that the couple was already divorced before the email probe and there was no evidence/proof of an...
I have a question. Seeing that you Michigan cats have better access to the local news there, I'm trying to find out if a Pontiac, Mi. man had probed his wife's email before or after their divorce?...

That's what a couple of guys call them here. I think most of it is stereotyping though.
Ditto. I first saw them on the SW of Detroit before I moved to San Francisco/Bay area. But didn't hit them up until I got here. They're good. Burritos.
Sounds like a plan. Have fun.
Detroit homes are not the same like NYC. NYC homes are primarily high rises and vintage apartments. It's when you head into the suburbs of N.Y. where the homes are similar. Chicago is in the middle;...
You serious? Look, it doesn't take a station of that size to run trains in Detroit. It doesn't have the traffic for it. If you go back to the last days that the trains ran out of the station, there...
and do what with it?
