Your premise is flawed. First, Chaldeans for the most part are not trying to impress white people or gain their approval. They don't have this mentality. To begin, most Chaldean prefer to intermarry....
Yeah, they have opened up stores in a city when nobody else would..so say thank you. Also, you conveniently forgot to mention how many Chaldean have been murdered by Blacks and held up by Blacks or...
Not any bit more racist than blacks. I happen to be Chaldean and worked in a liquor store for a great deal of my life in Detroit. On a daily basis, blacks would say deragotory comments about Arabs...
It wouldn't hurt having the temperatures in both Fahrenheit and Celsius and including some cities in Southern Ontario. A story or two regarding something major in Windsor or Canada wouldn't hurt....
I have always thought that one of Detroit's greatest assets in the fact that it borders Canada. However, it is as if at times, we live in next to each other without fully integrating the two areas...
You are welcome.
To begin, I wasn't saying to just throw up "replicas" of building from Europe in some Disney-themed fashion. Rather, buildings with neo-classical architecture or beaux-arts...

I think that Detroit really needs to get it right regarding what it puts on the riverfront. It is arguably the gateway or view of the city as it borders to river. I think what would be great would be...
That's all nice showing love to cyclists. But where's the love for motorists? Fix those pot holes.
Looks nice

If it went down Jefferson, it could stop at 1)GM HQ, 2)St. Aubin, 3) McDougall, 4)E.Grand Blvd/Belle Isle Bridge, 5)Van Dyke, 6)Marina Dr, 7)St. Clair, 8)St. Jean, 9)Dickerson, and then 10)Alter. I...
I was just wondering what people think about the possibility of expanding the people mover. How would you propose to make it more effective and expansive?
Would you recommend a double line? Also...
To be honest, Southfield won't be a bad choice. The last thing we need is for Southfield to become empty. It is what it is. The fact of the matter is that Southfield has many corporate buildings. My...
Detroit is in a very fragile state. It is gaining momentum, and the worse thing that could happen is another rape [[remember the girl from out of state leaving the majestic theater) or a homicide. It...
Snerk x 100 back at you! What specifically did I say that was so objectionable? Having a curfew for kids under the age of 18 wandering around downtown unaccompanied by a parent?
Or objecting to...
Perhaps they should have checkpoints allowing access in and out of Midtown and Downtown at night, and a curfew put in place. Nobody under 18 without a parental guardian.
In addition, it would be...
What I don't like about the Pure Michigan ads are that they focus on one town at a time all the time with some poetic statement meant to romanticize the place. I would like to see an ad with more...
Thanks so much. I actually think that this is a good design. The only thing I could see adding is perhaps a line along St. Aubin from Jefferson to Hamtramck Drive up to Joseph Campau, and then a line...
The purpose of highway signs is to help travelers, not to be part of a Chamber of Commerce campaign.
I agree, and?
Should the signs in western K-Zoo say Benton Harbor? No, they should say...
What is odd is that all the signs on I-94 between I-75 and 23 point to Ann Arbor. But all signs between on I-94 between I-275 and I-75 point to Chicago. I'm all in favor of stamping Chicago...
Awesome! But you forgot Grand River..:[[
I saw this article from a few years back. What do you all think?
Why should signs in Detroit point to Chicago instead of Ann Arbor or Kalamazoo-Battle Creek? Granted Chicago is a lager...
What about adding a line on West and East Grand Boulevards and circle the area in, and then add two lines down Warren and Mack from E Grand to W Grand? And then have all the spokes hit E and W Grand....
