I don't blame anyone taking a tough stance against disorderly people these days. I've long held that Detroit has been able to avoid the kinds of rampant crime you see in California and other cities around the US because we don't allow criminals to take up the victimhood mentality.

From a layman's point of view, it looks like the takedown was unwarranted, but the patron was clearly screaming and getting in security's face, just looking to stat an altercation. He got exactly what he was asking for.

The one sided reporting is typical of media today, yet still sickening. The music alone sounds better suited to a slasher flick than a news report.

You start punishing those who uphold societies laws and rules, while giving windfall paydays to those who break said laws and rules, and society will inevitably crumble.
