The Highland Park Holiday Inn formed a prominent anchor
to the Highland Park city governmental center. Flanked
by the City Hall and Fire Department on the right and
the Police Department on the left of the Gerald Street
cul de sac off Woodward. After Holiday Inn left the property
had a brief existence as The Highlander and then closed
forever.
