We're Back!
Lt. Frank Fowler of the Detroit Police Department and Dennis Doherty of the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office pose behind some of the 24 stolen Lee Plaza lions and 4 gargoyles  returned to Detroit from an architectural artifact dealer in Chicago.  Their investigations and pressures lead to the return of the purloined lions.  30 lions and one gargoyle remain missing.  Six of those stolen lions are embedded in a condo project on Chicago's north side.  For more on this subject click on the Rape of Detroit link above or visit the DetroitYES Forum.
