Once a major rail commuter route into the heart of Detroit, the Dequindre Cut with its WPA era bridges and below level tracks has been long abandoned. It has become more famous as a graffiti showcase. Now plans are moving forward to turn it into a parkway between Eastern Market and Detroit's reviving riverfront.
