AJ you keep saying D.T.'s own party is now against him. Truth is the Repubs were never with him.
Priebus was the Rebub party. I think Priebus was a concession that let D.T. get some of his other desired appointees confirmed.
If Bernie did win the W.H. by chance you would be seeing the same games played by the other party.

Best way to drain the swamp is to fill your administration with Goldman Sachs executives.

Meanwhile, aside from the fact that Obamacare repeal is now officially dead, Anthony Scaramucci said this yesterday:

"I'm not Steve Bannon, I'm not trying to suck my own cock."

Can't wait to hear Richard's spin on how stuff like that is a "good" thing. There's always upsides, right?

Scaramucci is a piece of work! i look forward to his daily rants. Perfect fit for DT. Trump is so hell bent on his agenda and campaign promises he'll do anything, including turning his "administration" into a dog and pony show. Despite people like Richard twisting themselves into knots to normalize this kind of thing or justify it, it is not normal and it is not OK. The White House Communications Director called a reporter and said those things, on the record. That's insanity.

Any other Administration in history and Scaramucci would be looking for a new job today after what he did. Democrat, Republican, Left, Right, doesn't matter. He would be fired. This wouldn't fly under Obama or Bill Clinton and it wouldn't fly under Bush or Reagan. But Trump breaks the mold and this kind of abnormal and reprehensible rhetoric is now the new normal.

If you want to talk about Hillary Clinton, start a thread about Hillary Clinton instead of constantly derailing a thread about things Donald Trump is doing today with shit Hillary Clinton did four years ago.
Fair enough. Hillary's "misdeeds do not excuse the misdeeds of members of the Trump administration" such as attacking a Syrian airbase just hours after Hillary declared she would attack Syrian air bases [[plural). One problem of antiseptically dismissing Hillary's misdeeds is that they are part of the warp and weave of current news. If Hillary had used legal computer venues, for instance, her private and top secret communications might not have shown up on Wikileaks and have been twisted into the Russiagate narrative. Yesterday, we found out that one of the Awan brothers had spent seven hours visiting the White House. That was back in 2013 but these guys were IT specialists for Debbie Wasserman Schultz of DNC fame until a month ago and Rep Castro of Texas who was on the House Intelligence Committee. The Awan brothers are charged with accessing unauthorized computer files and theft. These brothers were paid over $4m by Democrats. Castro didn't fire him until February after the Trump administration began looking into the Awan brothers' activities. One of the Awan brothers was just arrested at an airport trying to flee to Pakistan after wiring $300,000 there. He and his wife were both trying to leave with $12,000. The actions and reactions of the Obama, Hillary, Schulz, Awan brothers crowd are still very much part of the news. Hillary even released a book yesterday. Obama continues to slam and undercut Trump. My point is that today's news is still very much alive with Mrs. Clinton and other denizens of the Obama administration, so it is difficult to address the Democratic Russiagate narrative without including their participation.

That's great, except for the fact that Hillary Clinton's "private and top secret communications" DIDN'T end up on Wikileaks or get twisted into the Russian narrative. Are you confusing that with the Russian hack of John Podesta's emails or the Russian hack of the DNC server? Because those are entirely separate things from the Hillary private email server controversy [[which occurred four years before the Podesta and DNC hacks, while Hillary was Secretary of State). There's no evidence that anyone gained unauthorized access to Hillary Clinton's private email server and no one [[not wikileaks, nor the Russians) ever purported to have those emails, let alone release them.

Jesus Christ dude, you can't even get your Whataboutism correct.

Here, please educate yourself as to the difference between these things. They are not all the same thing.

    "No evidence"?
"On March 16, 2016 WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive for over 30 thousand emails & email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton's private email server while she was Secretary of State. The 50,547 pages of documents span from 30 June 2010 to 12 August 2014. 7,570 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton. The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the US State Department as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request. The final PDFs were made available on March 3, 2017."

"In March 2015, it became publicly known that Hillary Clinton, during her tenure as United States Secretary of State, had used her family's private email server for official communications, rather than official State Department email accounts maintained on federal servers. Those official communications included thousands of emails which she marked unclassified that would retroactively be marked classified by the State Department." -from your first wikipedia link.

Thank you also for your other links reminding us of Debbie Wasserman Schultz's efforts to scuttle Sanders and of Podesta attacking Catholics. If Russia, Guccifer II, and Wikileaks were tempted to hack undefended servers like Obama did Merkel's telephone, at least we had some light shining on Hillary, the DNC, and Podesta.

Wasn't your premise that Hillary should be left out of conversations? Mine was that her actions, as well as that of her crowd, are intimately intwined with today's news.

Stop reminding people of H.R.C. and her failed policies. It takes away from the Russian Collusion narrative.

That is kinda what people do,they set goals and objectives, and you are chastising your President Trump for actually sticking to his campaign promises?

Thats right,he is now a politician and is supposed to tell you what you want to hear and then do the exact opposite once in office. Right?

Sara Huckabee is correct in saying that they serve at the pleasure of the president because he is their boss and he can fire them, just as there are others that he cannot fire.

No different then any other company,do a test, Monday walk into your bosses office and dump a pot of coffee on his or her desk and say screw you.

I am thinking that you would probably not do that considering they are your boss and you might stand a chance of being fired.

    So how is this different?

Which promises is he sticking to? The one where he promised to build a wall or the one where he promised to repeal Obamacare "on day one?" Or the one where he promised to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem? Or the one where he promised not to cut Medicaid? Or the one where he promised to label China a currency manipulator? Or the one where he promised tax reform or the one where he promised massive infrastructure investment? How about the one where he was going to have a plan to defeat ISIS in 30 days?

I would love to hear about all the promises he's kept. Name some.

Did you even bother to READ what you copy and pasted? Here, let me highlight that for you.

The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the US State Department as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request. The final PDFs were made available on March 3, 2017.

The State Department released the emails to the public as part of a FOIA request on March 3. On March 16, Wikileaks [[along with the Wall Street Journal) created a search engine so people could keyword search those emails that had already been publicly released by the State Department two weeks earlier.

    These emails were not hacked.

    These emails were not stolen.

Wikileaks did not "release" them, only created a search engine so people could keyword search them.

The emails had nothing to do with Russia.

There was no sensitive or classified information in them [[the State Department would not have publicly released those as part of a FOIA request).

So please tell me, how in the blue fuck are Hillary Clinton's emails from five years ago connected to ANYTHING that is happening in the news today?

Besides, I thought the narrative by you guys on the Right was that "Russia didn't hack anyone, Russia didn't interfere?" So if Russia didn't do anything, how can the DNC and Podesta hacks be connected to the Russiagate narrative? If they're connected, then you are admitting that:
    1) Russia interfered in the United States Presidential Election
    2) They targeted the Democrats to deliberately help elect Donald J Trump

Can't have it both ways. Either they did or they didn't interfere.

aj, Did you even bother to READ the sentence that preceded the one you cut and pasted? I'll highlight it for you since it responded to your comment, “Hillary Clinton's "private and top secret communications" DIDN'T end up on Wikileaks or get twisted into the Russian narrative. “ Wrong-

On March 16, 2016 WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive for over 30 thousand emails & email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton's private email server while she was Secretary of State.

Your last question was already answered in my post # 207. “If Hillary had used legal computer venues, for instance, her private and top secret communications might not have shown up on Wikileaks and have been twisted into the Russiagate narrative.” “ The actions and reactions of the Obama, Hillary, Schulz, Awan brothers crowd are still very much part of the news. My point is that today's news is still very much alive with Mrs. Clinton and other denizens of the Obama administration, so it is difficult to address the Democratic Russiagate narrative without including their participation.”

It wasn’t just Hillary, Podesta, and the DNC’s inability to secure their computers leading to Russiagate of course. As Secretary of State, Hillary’s policies as implemented by Obama, caused hundreds of thousands of Arab deaths and millions of refugees that remain a problem. It is understandable that you want Hillary to be forgotten but to censor Hillary out of today’s news, when convenient, would be a difficult and Orwellian task.

Richard - He has as much knowledge as you and i do about running a county. I've heard people say he surrounds himself with people that do. Well, they're either fired or resigning or ramming "his" agenda with no back up plan or so much chaos it makes for good t.v.

Have you seen this guy during an event, being asked questions that he can't answer? He stands there dumbfounded or ignores them and just walks away.

He is not a politician, he is an "entertainer". He likes the stage. He needs to be seen. Should've stuck with celebrity apprentice. It was a much better show.

I kinda think it brings up the bigger aspect of Do business owners make good politicians.

The transition from being fully in charge of every aspect even though one would still practice delegating authority.

In business and one like his you make a decision and those under you implement it in light speed because they want to impress, politics moves at turtle speed.

I think he is stumbling abit and maybe a bit nervous behind the scenes which may be why he looks to surround himself with known people that he feels comfortable with and ones he can trust unconditionally.

Most past administrations have placed people in positions that were past acquaintances or ones that had helped them in the past, even though they may not have been the best person for the job.

President Obamas first choice of FEMA director had no business being in charge and people suffered for it.The second one also left the northeast hanging out to dry also.As an example of and not necessarily the only case or administration that that happened.

I think once he finds that spot inside that got him where he is today he can do some good for the country after a slow start.

Anybody that lives in this country, outside of the ones that prefer total socialism, knows what we need to do in this country, the hard part is finding a middle ground to get that accomplished.

In business, it is I am the boss, you will do this as I say or you are fired, where politics It is asking for a $100 and then negotiations and excepting $50.

All of these politicians that are entrusted by thier states to look out for thier best interests funneling down to a taper of issues where you cannot please everybody all of the time, and mostly pissing people off the majority of the time.

Outside of the entertainment aspect the country is still running on a daily basis and things are taking effect,so there has to be some good people up there.

He has not built the physical wall but the physiological aspect of illegal immigration is haveing a noticeable impact.

He has brought the private sector to the table in funding internships programs for those in collage so when they finish the have a job or at the least expirence verses a piece of paper, they are also working on ramping up skilled trade programs.

I look at it as the foundation is cracked and in order to build we need to fix that first, but it takes everybody.

Detroit has proved what can be done when people set thier minds to it,imagine if that was applied country wide.

The Trump Administration is like Game of Thrones, with all the scheming and backstabbing by people looking to gain power and influence. I honestly can't think of a Presidential Administration as publicly dysfunctional as this one has been.

Richard, what is your take on Trump's speech at the Boy Scout Jamboree? I'm interested in how you normalize something like that.

It's my belief that Trump just appeals to the lowest common denominator. Every day seems to be further evidence of this belief.

We shouldn't be surprised, as his tv show was basically the same act. I mean if a human being could be entertained for an hour by people like Trump, Tanya Harding, Gary Busey, Jose Conseco, etc, the writing was kind of on the wall. I once watched this ignorant show for 12 minutes and had my jaw down in disbelief. The same folks actually determined he was a great businessman based on what they saw, and would be able to surround himself with 'winners' because of it. I once had the unfortunate experience of entering a New Jersey Trump casino and had the same experience as writer Harper Lee..... “The worst punishment God can devise for this sinner is to make her spirit reside eternally at the Trump Taj Mahal in Atlantic City".

It is my belief that it becomes impossible to have a discussion with somebody that refers to someone that they do not agree with as the lowest common denominator.

Hitler,Mussolini,Chavez,Murado,Gorbachev all had ways of eliminating people that they thought were the lowest common denominator,is that your preferred path?

But it really does not matter, what matters is how and what the Boy Scouts got out of it.

The boisterous crowd of young scouts responded with applause.

The crowd booed at the mention of Clinton.

    http://www.businessinsider.com/boy-s...-speech-2017-7

I heard that some were offended by his speech but I guess the adults were provided with a life lesson of being offended is a part of being an adult, maybe they should have provided a safe space and counseling for the adults.

I am not a fan of Hillary or Bernie and just because I do not like them it does not mean that I feel that those fellow Americans that support them are any less of a human being and are entitled to thier opinion.

I also feel that it is time for the Democratic Party to take some responsibility for the damage they have done to this country by
    eliminating the two party system.

They created President Trump and now look for ways to place the blame elsewhere.

I do not care if our president Trump tweeted that he woke up with a pimple on his ass, results count everything else is rhetoric
and as long as he does his job of taking care of america and Americans first I will support him,if that makes me the lowest common denominator,so be it,I am an adult and I can handle it.

    Merry Christmas

I disagree with plenty of people who are not the lowest common denominator. Most people I disagree with are not the lowest common denominator. As I said, Trump appeals to them. That has nothing to do with whom I disagree.

The idea that it's simply about disagreeing is disingenuous. Sometimes people are wrong. Opinions can be wrong.

But you did answer my question. You normalize that behavior by deflection and blame. That's pretty low.
