Default The Death Of Common Sense

Phillip Howard has been doing the talk show circuit. All he appears to be doing is pointing with alarm at the worst cases that arise from our litigious society. His appeal to authority is alarming to me as though he wants to set up a Solomon-like and completely objective person to mete out justice or decide the outcomes of situations. I don't think any such person exists. The corruption of our gov. gives us an idea of how much power monied interests wield right now. Then there is all the emotionalism many adults display. Our present system could probably use some tweaking but I wouldn't throw it all out.
