    Default Wayne State student from Nigeria tearfully reunites with mom

    As soon as he saw his mother’s multicolored skirt coming down the elevators, Victor Chukwueke sprang forward this morning.

    The 25-year-old took three giant strides and wrapped her in a massive hug, laying his head on her shoulder, much the same way an infant snuggles into an embrace.

    For the next five minutes, Victor and his mother, Mary, hugged, trying to wipe away 10 years of separation in one emotional moment.

    I saw this story in the paper prior to mom's arrival. It's really great that people worked so hard to get his mom here for graduation!
