Default Any elected officials on Detroit Yes?

Or am I the only one? I assume there are many public employees who post here, but I was just wondering if anyone actually governs anything? For the record, I'm a city councilman in a small town in Washington.

Thanks for revealing that you're in Washington. For just a nano-sec I was worried you might try to assassinate me for all of my nasty remarks about politicians. I hope you're too far away. [[ Omak? Okanogan? Yakima? Chief Joseph? Tukwilla?)

I'm finishing a school board term in Texas and was just elected to be a state bar director for my 14 county district. In Texas membership in the state bar is mandatory and its a public office. Eery now and then I get upset at something and run but I could easily shift gears and get into a tropical nursery that was offered.

Detroit needs tropical fruits growing in all those green areas -LOL

The only ones I know for sure are some editors of the Detroit dailies... some reporters... and some folks who work for those in power in Oakland County. It's common for some folks to have their secretaries browse thru the DYES and report back on the subjects that are important to them.

Sometimes things are announced here before they hit the major news outlets...

.....nah. Detroit needs apple, cherry, peach and cot orchards.

    1KielsonDrive.....

......You got close with Omak/Okanogan. About 100 miles south of there in Douglas [[no relation) County.
