    a friend just turned me on to this flickr stream of photos regarding the anniversary of the chernobyl disaster.

    the very first commentator [[ after the photos ) hijacks the post and makes the conversation about the visual similarities to the blah blah blah ruins of detroit.

    amazing how someone can turn a conversation about a totally unrelated sad situation halfway around the globe into a bash of detroit, capitalism, the auto industry, and whatever else they want to throw at the conversation.

    Setting aside the silly "buy usa" argument, compare your flikr stream there with various Detroit ruin porn streams. If they are all mixed together I wonder if you could tell which image is from where.
