That's an important story but it's not new news.

2009 Chinese drywall controversy

As a chemistry lab assistant I was exposed to hydrogen sulfide. I was dispensing it to students outdoors standing upwind of the tank because I knew it was toxic. Even with all the precautions I still got sick. It was not at all pleasant. There were no lasting effects for me but people around this drywall are going to be exposed to it for prolonged periods.

Katrina victims were hit hard by this problem.

Needless to say, there ought to be a law.
