Avalon Bakery Expansion?

I saw this on Crains today, an excerpt from the Pancakes and Politics today at the DAC.

"Avalon, the immensely popular Midtown Detroit bakery, needs a loan for an expansion, Finney said, and has had problems getting funding despite having lines out its door on a regular basis. The MEDC has been trying to remedy the situation."

Anyone else hear about expansion plans for Avalon?
