    Thanks! The first page shows a couple of old photos of a vertical parking elevator. That idea has been discussed here before but as a modern invention.

    i was able to search for Packard photos [[naturally) and find a bunch that I had never seen before.

    By the way, why the posting name of Coplin? Did you live on that street on the eastside as I did?

    Thanks. You were well north of me - up by Chandler Park. There are still homes in your neighborhood.

    I was south of Vernor and north of Kercheval and there is not a home standing on the block I grew up on.
