Just a few pictures from my walk last night - kudos to my dog Otis for being so patient during his walk [[lol).

Otis was rescued two years ago - his journey has been long and hard - but now he's living and loving life in Downtown Detroit! We're never going back to the Burbs!

Great pics there of the city and the doggie.. I wish we could use some of these instead of the national media typical grab of the blown up Michigan train station, UA theater, slums etc.. I am so tired of seeing the typical pics they want to impress the nation with . They for some reason always want to ignore the beautiful things we have here and the pics of our sights like you have taken. When friends come from out of town they always tell me they are so surprised what we have here, that we should market our good features better. Thanks again.

Wow, had to sign in and post for the first time in ages to say those photos are amazing. I second what Motor City Sam said - it's some truly beautiful architecture in this city.

I'm always amazed by the beautiful architecture of Detroit. It's somehow just a little different than architecture in other cities I've lived in. It is refreshing to see the all good stuff that still exists.

Man, the David Stott building is a striker isnt it? The Guardian building and the Stott's terracotta color
are quite a sight on such a massive scale. Beautiful Detroit!!!
