Default Emancipation Proclamation Coming to Henry Ford Museum

For all you history buffs...what a great event for adults and kids alike...

The actual Emancipation Proclamation - which very rarely leaves the National Archives - will be at Henry Ford Museum for 36 straight hours starting at 7 AM on June 20. This will be a free event for the public.

I don't want to sound like a Debbie Downer, by the Proclamation was another lie they told us about in elementary school. I would love to go see it, of course, but it did nothing to free the slaves, unfortunately.

    I'm sorry, I don't listen to hip-hop.
