In Dun Laoghaire the "Festival of World Culture" took place from 21. to 24. of August 2008. Edgar MÃ¼ller has followed the invitation and continued his series of large-sized 3D Street Art there. For this year's Festival of World Cultures renowned German street painting artist Edgar MÃ¼ller transformed a huge slice of the East Pier into a dramatic ice age scene. This project was supported by the Goethe Institution Germany.

Ah Pam, you have done it again.

You must bear in mind that I am in a very grim state of mind, so the Troggs' tape was too much of a mirror for it to amuse me.
The Beach Boys thing... Well, the ugliness of the truth behind that one over-rode the potential funniness of the video, for me.

It was the absolutely unchained silliness of the third entry. That's the one that broke the stone formations building around the edges of my mouth.

Sandworms are fictional desert-dwelling creatures from Frank Herbert's science fiction series Dune. According to the Encyclopedia of Dune their scientific name is Geonemotodium arraknis [[also Shaihuludata gigantica), among the Fremen of Arrakis [[Dune) they are known as Shai-Hulud. The Fremen believe that the actions of the sandworms are the direct actions of God, and so the worms have been given numerous titles such as the Great Maker, the Worm who is God, Old Man of the Desert, Old Father Eternity, and Grandfather of the Desert. Shai' hulud is Arabic for "a thing of eternity."
