Conservatives claim that socialism is to blame
Prosperity will occur if we just play their game
Of cutting taxes and enriching the wealthy
Trickle down theory means the US is healthy

Nevermind if your job is shipped out of state
Tariffs and protectionism makes CEOs quite irate.
Jobs will be created if everyone will just wait
Although outsourcing and offshoring will never abate

Support the troops is the conservatives' call
Defending their freedom is the most important of all
Until soldiers no longer can serve
Then a discharge slip is all that they deserve

Government entitlements are the bane of our nation
Personal responsibility with no deviation
Unemployment is a myth because of job creation
The aged, infirm and disabled can pray for their salvation
Assistance should be given through a charitable donation

The wealthy, more specifically, the producers [[those who generate something from nothing) are the engine of our economy. Hamstring them, and who do you suppose bears the brunt of the harm? Those employed by the wealthy? Those indirectly benefitting from the consumption of said wealth? IOW...you...the regular guy or gal.
