    Default Snyders plan explained.

So any city Government in Michigan can be dissolved and taken over by a corporation of his choice?

Michigan residents who donate money to homeless shelters, food banks and public universities no longer could deduct those contributions from their income taxes under Gov. Rick Snyder's budget proposal...

Gee, eliminating the tax credit for gifts to MI colleges shouldn't affect donations, right? And businesses just flock to states with deteriorating school systems.

Snynerd was silent during the campaign. Snakes are silent too.

None saves taxpayers as much as Snyder's biggest target for elimination, the exemption on pension income, which costs the state about $900 million a year. But taken all together, the changes on income tax credits and deductions means individuals would pay $1.7 billion more in taxes annually.

Snyder plans to use the extra money to pay for a corporate tax change that would save businesses $1.8 billion a year.

The proposals are angering some taxpayers and worrying groups that rely on charitable donations.
Scroogeonomics. Reverse Robin Hood. Rob the poor to lavish the rich. Legalized larceny. Imperial impunity. You earn it, they'll burn it.

The proponents of this trash aren't even trying to defend it. That's because there is no defense. So they've retreated to diversion instead. They have no excuse. It's not because they're ashamed. It's because they're shameless.

Their feverish attempts to divert attention from the real issue of deliberate disenfranchisement of the citizen tells the whole story. Yeah, yeah, heh, they cry about "unions" and nothing else. As if unions haven't already been beaten to a pulp. They'd better start looking for a new scapegoat soon because that one's gone threadbare from the beating it's already taken over decades. It's become all too obvious that it's not the boogieman they claim. It's all a lie.

What this is really about is funneling power away from citizens and into the most authoritarian political structure extant in the U.S. today: the corporate board room. Totalitarianism is the concentration of the most power into the fewest possible hands. "Privatization" has become an euphemism for totalitarianism.

Privatizing entire governments? Really?! From what demented mind did that absurdity spring?! Talk about a blatant power grab!

It's going to take more than a few masochistic, sycophantic Teabaggers to convince me that that idea isn't sinister.

The parasitic saboteurs in power are on the march. They're marching into a sewer. Do we really want to continue following them there?

Michigan has choosen the WORST person to do the job, a NERD who downsizes Michigan, trying to destroy tax credits for education, film industries, senior citizens and wipe out cities through the dictatorship of Emergency Financial Managers. He will be a one term NERD.

    WORD FROM THE STREET PROPHET!

We're getting blown away from that NERD! Vote him out in 2013.

According to the Tax Foundation Michigan has the 17th best business climate, yet lags places like New York which is 50th. We are one of the best among midwest states.....so what makes Snyder think he can attract more businesses? Recall the Nerd 7/1/11
Here is the article I took this info from.

That's because the Republican mantra that "business-friendly" is inversely proportional to "taxation" is complete bullshit.

What right-wingers refuse to recognize is that infrastructure is more important than tax rate. I know a number of firms who have looked at michigan and then run away at the site of our infrastructure.

You don't have to worry about taxes if you're not making any money. :-)

Searay. It has been shown time and again that taxes are NOT the #1 issue for companies to locate their business. That is nothing but a shill game the corp's have convinced politicians about.

There are numerous factors dribing where a company locates and one of the biggest is quality of life [[not the biggest). If a city has a great quality of life they can pick the cream of the crop of potential employees.
As our demographics age this is going to be a very big deal in the coming decade. Detroit is fucked when it comes to this but Michigan does offer wonderful activies.
