    Default Please ID this Building: 2422 Vinewood St.

    I noticed this large carcass of a building in the distance while hanging out in Corktown. 2422 Vinewood. St., Detroit, MI [[approximate address according to google maps)

    Looks old, probably 1910-20? There is another nice sized warehouse attached to it, also abandoned [[2384 Vinewood St).
    I couldn't find any info searching the old forum, any help identifying it would be appreciated.

    Isn't it the old Crowley warehouse?

    That is a burned out wharehouse owned by "Slumlord [[lower than dogpoop) Kavalanos",[[?sp). He also owns the old crumbling Western YMCA on Clark, and is a horrible landlord to many unsuspecting Hipsters in the area.

    Thanks Homer, the building that you're referring to is located 2 doors down on the corner of Vinewood & Toledo St.

    Google didnt return any results for Crowleys/Mercantile on this street. Any other suggestions?
