    That's an oldie! This picture, or a similar one caught my eye about a year ago and it led to one hell of an interesting thread.

    Wasn't the floating restaurant behind Cobo named the Lansdowne too? Was it the same one that's in Shorpy pic?

    That is indeed the same Lansdowne, recently scrapped in Ohio. If I remember right, the engines dated to 1867, but the iron hull was a bit newer, 1880's maybe?
