I see more progress is being made on the former Downtown Foodland. Does anyone know the soft opening date? I and my friend can't wait! It is the only grocery store that would be in the downtown area

There was a thread some weeks back that was started by the owner. Along with trying to get some ideas from the Detroityes crowd, he had a target opening of April. Don't quote me, I may be mistaken on the date. I'm looking forward to the opening. That spot has been pretty dead ever since the owner evicted all of the established businesses that had decades of success under their collective belts.
