Lot NE of Honeybee MKT

I noticed that the lot northeast of Honeybee Martket has been cleared of trees.
Does anyone know for what purpose? Also, is anyone aware of the status and/or time table for the Vernor Street rail road tunnel by MCS? I recall an article about a group that was to clean, paint and light the tunnel.

I'm not sure who owns that lot, I think it's owned by Canadian Pacific Railways though. Probably just increasing maintenance, there used to be a homeless camp behind the trees that used to be there. Protecting themselves against liability incase the person died.

As for the other thing, all I know is its owned by CPR and they had put out bids, that was the end of January
