Dear Sir,
Would there be a repository for photographic images of the late band leader and American musician, Glenn Miller [[ 1904 - 1944 ) and his orchestra as might be located in the 'Detroit Times' or 'Free Press'?
Miller band appearances:
1) Fox Theater June 21-27, 1940
2) Eastwood Gardens July15-19,
1941.
3) Michigan Theater Jan. 16-22,1942
4))Eastwood Gardens July 17-23,
1942.

The DSO archives might have something.

There may be actual images at those papers. The Burton Collection at the Detroit Public Library would have microfilm copies of the papers which might include images assuming the events were reported.
