A far-reaching anti-choice bill, introduced by Republican Chris Smith and supported by 173 members of the House, includes a provision that could redefine rape in the realm of federal funding for reproductive health care.
Right now, federal dollars can't be used for abortion except in cases of rape, incest, or when the woman's life is in danger. But the Smith bill would narrow that use to 'cases of 'forcible' rape but not statutory or coerced rape.'..."

It sounds like these cons support Sharia Law with their conservative Muslim brothers. After all, many of them think women should be submissive to their husbands, not work, and stay in the kitchen.

But you can still get an abortion. The islamo nazi's would just stone the woman to death instead.
Good, The states should pay for it if they so desire, not the Feds.
I hope they de-fund Planned Parenthood also and shift the burden to the states.
MoveOn.org , aren't they a socialist front group using tax subsidies to promote their agenda.

Where do you live? I live in Michigan and since the second that I was born I've have education and healthcare. Public schools cost nothing and it is illegal for hospitals to not treat you. Sure, you may have a bill afterward, but they are required to treat you. The best healthcare isn't free people.

People might as well work out deals with the hospitals themselves as try to get anything out of an insurance company with a big-salaried CEO and shareholders taking your money before the hospitals see any of it.

And you don't appear to be keeping up with what's going on in DPS, where there may be 60 kids in a class.
