Early 2010 there was a bid placed for transportation services in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb county.
From what I understand our medicaid transportation funding and other operations were outsourced to an Atlanta based company called Logisticare.
Is anyone familiar with what and how this happened?
Anyone know the pros and cons to this?
Is it true that Logisticare are the only ones exclusive that can receive payment or is there some secret process those other transportation companies just aren't following to continue services to their customers?
Is there a bigger controversy behind all this?
