Where the heck is that Justin Verlander?

I notice he's been missing in action lately.

He hasn't been the dominant stud he was in the regular season but he did fine last night and kept us in the game. It hasn't been the lack of starting pitching that's failed us- I attribute that to the quiet bats. We need to generate runs any way we can and hope that the big bats can catch fire every now and then.

Hell, knowing that Beltre's got a bum knee, I'd be devilish enough to bunt down to third base if he's even playing a flea's breath back. If Texas has got a weakness anywhere on that filed, let's expose it. Our back's against the wall and we gotta play ugly. Runs aren't gonna come easy. Station-to-station, small ball, squeeze plays, the Ephus, and everything short of scuffing the ball is okay now. Lose one more and it's the back nine at the golf course.

I agree with this...don't understand why the Tigers haven't tried to expose it.
