I've loved the idea of composting toilets ever since I first heard about it - no more clogs, stuck handles wasting water, etc. I wonder if they'd meet code in a typical neighborhood.

My husband and I and our two cats - we would kill each other and there would be nothing left but one big pile of fur and bones.

They are cute though. I guess for a single person they could work.

There is another site that has blueprints for easily expanded homes ,you buy a cheap lot build a small 400 sqft house then as your family grows you add onto the sqft ,the difference is the plans are set from the start so the house does not look like it has been added on you can go all they way up to 1400 sqft.
