I've been thinking a lot about this sort of thing. When I was growing up, Detroit always had great, new music coming out.

When I watched "Gran Torino" and "Santa's Slay", I realized that I want entertainment that is home grown. I want to see my city, my people and my topics and I don't mind if the production isn't top tier. I'm going to compromise on something, it might as well be production quality rather than everything else.
