    Thanks for the posting.....It gives me hope that Detroit and its resilent people will rise from the ashes and again someday soon become a new thriving city. Instead of the negatives we must all be more postitive about our city and region.

    Duh! I don't know what took so long for people to figure out that setting up business in Detroit is probably cost efficient. Not only are the low commercial rents an incentive but surely the low cost of housing and the high rate of unemployment would result in a workforce that is willing and able to work at a lower rate than in a high cost city like N.Y.

    It's good to see the national media talking up the positive changes going on in Detroit. Incremental progress beats standing still.

    Hopefully, stories like this will put us on the list for consideration when outstate investors decide to expand their operations.

    while buying a Detroit house is cheap and affordable, purchasing a commercial building in the city certainly is not! Thank in large part to the media attention.
