    Default Bing vs. City Council

after reading this article, I must say I'm officially concerned about the charter revision process.

    http://detnews.com/article/20101220/...r-over-charter

will this turn into a glorified power struggle between the mayor and city council ? for starters why do the council want to go 11- members ? and I didn't know Detroit spend more on council than a city like San Diego !

I'm not saying I agree with Bing on his proposals, but the council seem like they want more power ! do they fear council by districts this much ?

I'm curious about some of your concerns about this topic, I feel this isn't given the importance it should be given now !

    1) I think Council should be elected by district
    2) You think the mayor should have all the power? Look at how well that worked under the Kilpatrick administration.
