    Yes, I used to get my school shoes at the Hack Shoe store. The Avenue of Fashion was a nice strip in its day.

    I had a girlfriend that worked at Rainier Bakery that is just north of 7 mile rd.It is a bakery that makes bean pies now IIRC.Rainier Bakery was the go to place for the Hoi-Polloi back in the day.
