Default Looking for old 5 panel door..

Does anyone know of a place in or around the city that carries salvaged interior doors? I'm looking to make a bed frame as a Christmas gift and need a solid paneled door with rectangular panels that are individually stacked on top of one another as opposed to side by side. Oak would be great, but will settle for any hardwood. Thanks for any suggestions.

Oh yeah, cheap and covered with old paint would be fine...

Hey Johnny5 check out Architectural Salvage Warehouse at W. Warren and Grand River. They have plenty of doors at reasonable prices.

Don't forget about the Habitat for Humanity Salvage Warehouse on Greenfield and 96 [[it's set close to 96 on the east side of Greenfield).

I noticed a couple of five-panel doors at Materials Unlimited in Ypsilanti yesterday.

Thanks for the leads. I'll try and post a pic of the bed after it's completed. After realizing that there's only 20 days before Christmas I'm not quite sure this will end up being a gift, but definetly a winter project.

then make sure you buy a gift, so you arent sleeping on the sofa while you finish the bed
