Suburban HQ job counts

I was having a conversation with a coworker about suburban employers and the question arose; how many jobs are we talking about? As in, how many people do some of these big suburban employers employ at their HQ/main offices. I dug around online a bit and did not find a place that had rough employment numbers, so would anyone know a place to look? Or do people know the totals for places like: Bank of America, 5/3rd Bank, PNC, Kelly Services, Lear, Federal Mogul, TRW ect…?

To be honest, the context of the conversation was the age old “what if we had more centrality to the metro Detroit workforce downtown” conversation. But that’s neither here nor there. It would be interesting, however, to get a rough idea or list of these employers.
