Default An old Detroit radio tradition

Anybody remember listening to "The Little Girl in the Yellow Dress" on Christmas Eve? It aired on WWJ radio in the late 1940s thru the 1950s, and was written by Detroit News columnist H.C.L. Jackson in 1937.

You can hear a rare 1949 broadcast of the show on my website.

Oddly enough, I have H.C.L Jackson's book 'Back to Vertical' sitting next to me on my desk. It has many stories but not that particular one.
