Happy Gratitude Day to all. I made an apple pie last night and am waiting on my potatoes to cool so that I can make my famous red potato salad. Just finished watching the parade with the niece and nephew. Enjoy the day, and GO LIONS!

Likewise from us here in Las Vegas, where -- alas -- I fear we shall watch the Lions being slaughtered...........

English...we watched the whole parade to try and see my grandson who was marching in the Fraser High School Band. Wouldn't you know it, they switched cameras just as the baritone sax section was coming into view! Well...we are proud grandparents anyway!

I hear you....I was watching for a friends two grandsons who are in the band and the camera switched. Oh well, like you said, I'm sure everyone was proud of them anyway.

Yes, I agree that they just don't show the bands the way they used to. I felt as if each part of the parade was shorter than it was in years past, but then again, it could just be nostalgia!

Hope everyone's dinner was wonderful -- wondering which DYes regulars are now making plans for Black Friday!

I ate way to much and should have never got into the Scotch.
However it was a great day and I hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
