i'm doing a web-search as we speak.. but has anybody heard about any of the retail places and other businesses in the area needing help for the holiday season..

I got an email from Saks that they were looking for holiday help. If you go to their website you can even see how many positions they are filling at each store.

Go for the stock help positions. Less money but you'll loathe humanity far less if you're not around it. [[especially during the holidays)

UPS. They always hire for package handlers for the season. If you can actually do the job, it could lead to a full time position later.

I heard dat!! My tolerance for maniac shoppers is lessening. I never do that Black Friday "camp out at the store" thing. I just roll over and take long needed sleep-in! LOL! Sometimes I will do after Christmas shopping a bit.
