    Default 45 record collectors

Ive collected Record Albums for awhile now, but took an interest in 45s when I watched a dj spin soul 45's with colorful-attention grabbing labels. Ive picked up some nice sixites and seventies jazz 45 records. One of the Blue Note label 45's is mint condition and came with a juke box slip. I picked up a local label Parliaments 45 record with a funky-psychadelic label. Stormy Records carries a hefty selection of 45s organized by genre..Solo Records has an accessible 45 section...seems like most other stores keep them in cluster piles or long boxes...I payed anywhere from 1 to five bucks so far..I notice on E-bay many of the Northern Soul and some Blue Note records have a hefty price tag!

I did alittle research and I guess the Blue Note label has quite the history . I'm sure jazz fans knows this already . In regards to Blue Note , I'm curious if they released 45's to the public during its heyday , or to radio stations/juke box only ? From what I have read , Blue Note still exists but was bought out by EMI . I think further research is need to determine rarity and value .
I did discover that a handful of album covers were designed by the yet unknown Andy Warhol which may add to the value .

Blue Note was known for their striking and unusual album cover designs
A few mid-fifties album covers featured drawings by an as-yet-little-known Andy Warhol.
