Default TIME: How to Shrink a City

The final piece by TIME's Assignment Detroit:

    http://www.time.com/time/nation/arti...0761-1,00.html

It is a very thoughtful write-up on Detroit, and the future of the city. While it acknowledges the challenges facing Detroit, it gives a very optimistic outlook. It definitely does not pass over issues like race that seep into every conversation. It is well-worth a read.

Thanks Brush -it is a great story. I once started a thread about the greening parts of Detroit. I wonder how it is to be the only house on a block- perhaps its like being in the country and the city at the same time.

Oh, dear God! Can we please stop posting crap from the kids at Time?

I think the entire internet loses an IQ point or two every time someone does this.
