Default New Views On The Food Chain

I postulated a new definition to the hierarchy of the food chain the other morning.

Higher on it, the least waiting when you're hungry. Lower, the longest wait...sometimes indefinite, if the next rung or two down isn't available.

I think that it is accurate and complete. But yields some curious revelations.

Since we have to actually WAIT on waitpeople to bring our drinks, appetizers, meals and desserts...these servers [[and occasionally servants) are actually at least a step higher on the food chain than ourselves. Some have known this all along.

A few folk may boast that they cook their own meals, but remain lower than the stock people at Meijer, who themselves are lower than the Teamsters who drive the delivery trucks. They are a tick beneath the weights and measures people in the State Police...and the TSA folk at the bridge and other ports of entry.

[[Who all have to wait for the oil man, but I digress...sorry to insinuate him in here, but he insisted on equal insinuation!)

Ideally, a farmer who grows their own, sustained by chicken and cows' daily output, is much closer to the top of the chain...since we ALL have to wait for them to get up and do their thang.

But even the best of them would admit they are slaves to their crops and livestock...nothing happens until THESE entities show up for 'work'.

Which must mean...vegetables, fruit, animal products and by-products are above humans on the food chain. We've been taught incompletely from the very first day of kindergarten. This wisdom and knowledge is kept from us...why?! It returns respect to the provider of these beautiful bounties, Mother Nature. The Queen of the Food Chain. All hail. And the Sun. Bless the Sun. And that mysterious multi-state molecule it all depends upon, Water.

So, all hail, hail. Things get clear pretty quickly with this 'delay' analysis. Who do YOU wait for before you can eat?! LOL.

[[Hell, what? You sir, to our special B Ark, with special accommodations for discriminating folk like yourself. We'll meet you on the next planet, would Mars be OK?! Venus, better?! Good. Don't worry if it gets a little hot, that's normal.)

    Cheers!
