Thread: Art & Dot's

    Default Art & Dot's

Speaking of couple-run greasy spoons, does anyone remember Art & Dot's? It was on the eastbound Fisher service drive between Park and Clifford if my memory serves me well. I hadn't thought about it in awhile, so I checked out the block on Google, and it is all parking lot now. I seem to remember they closed in the 80s and moved up north. It was a great lunch spot, lots of Detroit PD ate there.

It's interesting how landscape changes can mess with your mental map. I've been by there hundreds of times and never connected it with my old map of the area which still features Art & Dot's.

I remember a place called Chris & Carl's on Cass not too far from there.
