    Default Big Brother Knocking...

    http://www.orlandosentinel.com/news/...,2783682.story

This article is proof that even mundane laws can be used to harass people.

If they went after 'illegal' barbers in Detroit...heh...we'd see another 1967.

If there is activity going on in these establishments, there must be a market for it.

If it doesn't harm anyone but the one who chooses to play...once again I don't see the problem. It is funny how much time, effort, and expense the government spends on forcing a change in human behavior...which in all our history has been proven more resilient than any external power! Go Free Will, GO!

Heck, any drug sales is likely the retail arm of the CIA anyways...especially the harder substances which ALWAYS trend with the area of the world our military is currently active.

Heroin during Vietnam, after we took over that franchise from the French.

Cocaine while the Reagan administration was performing their infamous Drugs for Guns program under ol' Ollie North.

Crack, when it became obvious those in the inner city didn't want to toast themselves like Richard Pryor very publicly did.

Now that we're in Afghanistan again [[and paling up with Pakistan's dirty intelligence agency), heroin is making a strong comeback, as well as hashish.

That is proof enough that the rumors of CIA involvement is true...if you need more, read up on what happened after the San Jose Mercury News decided to print a long series devoted to revealing what their reporters learned.

If you think your government is incapable of such things...you are too far lost for logic and reason to penetrate.

Big Brother is knocking. You just gonna let him in, or will you make him break down the door and let them suffer the consequences?!

    Cheers...anyways.

Plus, there's that other "drug" that attracts the military: oil.

Remember when Iraq II started how the meme "It's not about the oil" was repeated far more often than necessary? Frequent repetition is such a dead giveaway anymore. I'm surprised it's still used at all.

Many would claim that unlocking Iraq's oil potential was the primary goal of the U.S. invasion, and one would be naive to think that oil wasn't at least part of the invasion calculus.

    .....

Post-invasion, Iraq is actually hard-bargaining their oil deals, offering relatively meager returns to winning bidders and keeping much of the profit potential to itself. The U.S. has been mostly left out as a result.

    ....

On paper, these contracts hold the potential to satisfy one aspect of Washington’s oil hunger, while frustrating another. If fully implemented, they could collectively boost Iraqi production from 2.5 million to 8 million barrels per day in just a few years. They would not, however, deliver control over production [[or the bulk of the revenues) to foreign companies, so that Iraq and OPEC could continue, if they wished, to limit production, keep prices high, and wield power on the world stage.

Blood For Oil was propaganda. Compare it to the overblown conspiracy theory allegations against Obama. If America was supposed to get rich off Iraq's oil, they blew the opporunity. Like much the US Government attempts to do, gobbling up Iraq's oil ended in failure.
