    Default Shining Light Awards

This is an inspiring story about four people who started some great projects to help Metro Detroit.

Verniece Davis Anthony -- Coordinating Health Care in the region

Ed Begala -- Bringing back the Rouge River to make it an asset to the region. He had some great quotes about community service.

Ed Deeb -- Many things from post Riot relations to Eastern Market enhancement

Jeannette Pierce -- Detroit Welcome Center

Link goes to page before this article. Hmmmm. I tried a couple different ways to get just the article, no luck. I can copy and paste if needed.

Inside Detroit, Jeannette Pierce and her bar tours are hardly worthy of any sort of award. Non-profit my ass.
