Default When did DPD Homicide move out of Beaubien?

In a new episode of "The First 48" airing tonight about a case from the winter months of early 2010, Homicide is working out of Schaefer instead of downtown. Is this permanent or temporary?

    Thank God for that.
Place is the pits. Really made the city look bad
whenever you saw the insides of that place.
The Schaefer office must be constructed with industrial
looking hand rails etc. Looks rather new. Nothing fancy ..just the basics.

Homicide moved to Lesure/Scheefer approx 2 years ago. DPD seems to be playing musical chairs with 1300 Beaubien. While its not filled to capacity, its far from empty

Seems silly for them to be west centralized when they have so much east side activity. I'm relatively sure they could have found other space somewhere more downtown or new center.

Ident was the last to move from 1300 everybody is just about out even firearms moved over to woodward although all their old files are warehoused elsewhere. They moved out because the building was falling apart and they had that huge building lease on woodward so it shut the news media up about all the overpriced leases they have.
