    Default Sonny Eliot Thermometer question

    I see a thermometer on eBay that has the image of Sonny Eliot and WWJ Tv across the top.What years was he actually on t.v.?

    According to Tim Kiska's book "From Soupy to Nuts - a History of Detroit Television", Sonny Eliot did the weather on WWJ-TV [[then Channel 4) from 1949 to 1981. He then moved over to WJBK-TV [[Channel 2), where he did the weather between 1981-1982.

    The thermometer dates from 1963.
