Instead of getting it lost in the Lions sorry thread I figured I would start a new one. Here in 'da You Pee' when the Lions go up against the Packers we call it 'da Yooperbowl' This Sunday brings us to life where we go to pubs, participate in the potlucks that are hosted at the different taverns, and generally make drunken ass's of ourselves. Gambling, naw, that's illegal, fights, doubt it, the troops are worn out from Iraq. S--tfaced, more than one of us. I have a designated driver so I will plead guilty to the last charge in advance. Rabid fans on both sides? Sheeeit. This pulls as many out of the woodwork as the actual Superbowl, and that says a lot in hunting season. Myself? Packers. My Son? Lions. Of course he lives downstate.
Packers by 7...heh.
Win or lose, Monday is still gonna suck.

They did a survey were they put black boxes in cars to study what happened during car crashes. The study found an interesting finding. In 48 states the last thing the driver normally said before a fatal crash was, "Oh my God". The exception was in Wisconson and The Upper Penisula of Michigan. They found most people said, "hold my beer, I'm gonna try something"

Thanx, as I said Sunday is going to be a blast [functional neighborhoods don't hurt]. Monday, now that's another story. A mile walk home in hilly country when da wife and I get 'lit' turns into a 2 mile staggerfest, 3 miles in the winter. Left up to me we would ride the quad [atv] into town and ride home. Legal to do where I live, only banned from a small part of downtowns streets.
btw, our daughter down in Houston is a huge Packers fan, and she was only 10 when we moved down there back in the era of "the last one to leave Detroit please turn out the lights".
